Steve's Quote of the Day

Nash can't beat former team

Steve and the Suns struggled to keep pace with the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday afternoon and lost 140-116. From the start of the game the Suns could not get it going and their defense let them down again, just as it has all season long.

Here's a good pic of Nash shooting the running jumper over Dampier.

Nash's stat line:
12 points, 8 assists and 2 rebounds

Nash does it Again!

Steve Nash put up great numbers as the Suns blewout the Kings 139-111 in an exciting high scoring game.  What can you say about Kid Canada? 29 points and 9 assists....Brilliant!  Old age is no issue for Steve as he just keeps going.... and going!!!!!

Nash on Cover of Outside Magazine!

Steve Nash was on the cover of the March 2009 issue of Outside magazine.  He talks about how he brings his "A-Game" to facets of life other than just basketball.  Steve goes on to talk about how he doesn't own a car where he lives in New York, how he prefers to skateboard to where he needs to go for eco-friendly reasons and for the cardio exercise.  Steve never sits around watching TV AKA being lazy.  He spends his time doing things he loves and he makes the most out of his time.  As he says, "time is precious in life."  If you want to read the rest of the interview, go to http://outside.away.com/outside/culture/200903/steve-nash-complete-interview.html

New Gym In Vancouver NOW OPEN!

Everybody needs to know (if they don't already) just how dedicated Steve Nash is to fitness and personal well being.  Well, he recently opened a sports club in Vancouver BC, Canada to help people of all ages focus on training for specific sports.  He says it's not just for sports but also for people who just want to get into better shape.   Another great thing about Steve's gym is that its enviromentally friendly! From bamboo floors and locker panels to recycled car tire rubber equipment, the club is trying to minimize materials that would create toxic materials to produce.  Great job Steve!  Keep up the great work!  If you're wanting more information on Steve's new gym, go to: http://www.stevenashsportsclub.com/

IM BACK!

Well, the 2009 season hasn't been what the Suns hoped for, due to major injuries and Terry Porter being fired.  Steve Nash is still putting up good numbers with 16 points a game and almost 10 assists a game.  He is proving that he still has a few years left in the tank.  Keep in mind, Nash does a lot of work off the court in the past year that is inspiring people all over the world.  Stayed tuned for more on his recent life-changing work for commnunities everywhere.
